Scallows is perfect. Immaculate brand new shower & loo block. Huge showers. No charge. Flat pitches. Not too many. Pretty area and all topped off with a tawny owl hooting at night. Definitely the best CCC small Certified site we’ve ever been to. Excellent.
A great site with level hard standing pitches, excellent toilet/ shower facilities and a very welcoming owner.

The site is on the edge of the village with a pub serving good food and locally brewed beer. We had a great few days exploring the area and will definitely return.

Lovely little site just off the A22. 20 Minutes to Eastbourne. This site is located about a mile outside the village but easy to find with good access. Good wide level pitches and name tags so that when you turned up you could set up straight away. All the facilities are new including a small toilet block with a shower room better than my one at home. Tim the host visited us to check that we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome. Great little site and will definitely return again in the not too distant future.
What a find!

We wanted a site in the country with access to walks. This one came up and we went ahead and booked it. Site is a doddle to find and easy to access when towing. The pitches are hard stands with enough room to manoeuvre from the access road, electric hookup to the rear of the pitch with two drinking water taps and separate waste area. The extra bonus is a building containing two well presented wet rooms and toilets. We will be back. Thank you from Mike, Clare and Colin the caravan.

The campsite is wonderful and in such a great rural location with the local village only 10-15 min walk down the lane from site. The hardstanding pitches are very well maintained and of a high standard and the small wooden cabin with on site toilet and showers are superb and immaculately clean. There are also dishwashing facilities. The location has great access to a number of walks direct from site or a short drive away, which we enjoyed with our Jack Russell Terrier. East Hoathly the local village has a lovely pub (Kings Head) with great classic homecooked pub food and there is a local village store with PO which is well stocked, there is also a licensed Café/Boutique, hairdressers and bookshop. A short drive away is The Star Pub at Waldron which also looked nice, we only had a drink there though. The site owners are very friendly and welcoming but also leave you to your own devices, a very nice balance we felt. We will definitely be returning to this truly wonderful site. We stayed on this lovely site for three weeks. The hardstanding pitches were generous with their own electrics, and water each end of the site. The toilets and showers were spotless and there was always plenty of hot water and soap plus anti bacterial handwash and spray. Lots of owls to hear at night and the lovely little village of East Hoathly, with a general store, coffee shop and good pub, a two minute drive down the road. We shall definitely be returning.
Beautiful, quiet location

This is a lovely small campsite in a beautiful and secluded location. The facilities were clean and really well thought out, the shower rooms had mirrors, a dry location to put clothes/towel while showering. The water taps in the field had an arch with honeysuckle growing over it. A lot of thought had been put into the layout of the site. The owner, can't remember his name :(, is friendly & welcoming which is always a bonus. I would go back to this site if in the area.
